The apartment with a patio and lake views at Tarnside Cottages in Brampton was absolutely amazing! We had such a cozy and comfortable stay. The living room was the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. And let's not forget the stunning lake views from the patio! It was like stepping into a postcard. As someone who enjoys the simple pleasures in life, this apartment was a dream come true.
I must admit, there was one thing that didn't quite match my personal taste. The bathroom, while functional, felt a bit cramped.

Private parking so I didn't have to wrestle for a spot with the other guests. And guess what? Free WiFi! I practically felt like a queen with all these perks.
Oh, I just loved having to pay for parking and not having any Internet access. Such a dream come true.

Had an amazing Christmas stay in a cozy lodge with all the essentials for a self catering stay. Loved the warm log fire that was already burning when we arrived, making it feel extra welcoming. The location was perfect, not too far from the town and surrounded by beautiful scenery. It was so lovely to take morning walks with my dog and see the horses in the nearby looseboxes. The hosts were incredibly friendly and we would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.
There's really nothing to dislike about this wonderful little place. It was the ideal Christmas getaway, offering peacefulness and breathtaking views.

We had a wonderful stay at Tarnside Cottages for a week. The views from the grounds and bedrooms were breathtaking, especially from the upstairs double bedroom. The log burner added a cozy touch and the property was immaculately maintained and clean. The kitchen was well-equipped with ample crockery and cooking utensils. The thoughtful touches of a lit log burner upon arrival, a complimentary bottle of wine, and biscuits made us feel instantly welcomed. The location was perfect, surrounded by a working racehorse stud and with the beautiful Talkin Tarn just outside for morning walks. The hosts were lovely and the welcome pack was a kind gesture. Plus, it's super dog-friendly!
I highly recommend this hotel.
